BACKGROUND
Dear Haskell CISD Community, Parents, and Staff,

The Haskell CISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call for
a $16.5 million bond package for the November 7, 2023 election.
After reviewing the district-wide facility assessment and district
financial information, the district administration and Board of Trustees
developed the bond package. They met to assess and prioritize
critical focus areas and then called a public meeting to gain input.
After much discussion, the consensus was to move forward and call a bond for the following four areas:
Junior High Renovations
• Secure Entry Vestibule
• Connect original building to the four classroom building additions
• Library, Teacher Workroom, Science Lab and Nurses Offices
Elementary School Additions & Renovations
• Boys & Girls Restroom Renovations
• New Drop-off / Pick-up and Parking

High School Renovations
• Secure Entry Vestibule
Replacement Fieldhouse
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to express my gratitude to the community for coming together to discuss the needs of the district. If anyone has questions or wants more information regarding the bond program, contact me at 940.864.2602 ext. 104.
